Dental Front Desk Assistant - Durham, NC
Our established general dentistry practice in Durham, NC seeking a friendly and dependable Front Desk Assistant to support front office operations and help provide an excellent patient experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of dental front desk experience
- Experience with scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and front desk workflow
- Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and patient accounts preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
What You'll Do:
- Welcome and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner
- Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and schedule appointments
- Support patient check-in/check-out and maintain accurate patient records
- Maintain accurate patient records and update systems as needed
- Assist with insurance verification, billing, collections, and account follow-up
- Ensure the front desk is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve patient inquiries promptly
- Work closely with the clinical and administrative team to support patient care

- Pay: $19–$23/hour, based on experience
